staying at tembo house was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect. we could easily walk to the beach and explore the historical center of stonetown. we loved the friendly staff who made us feel right at home. the annex had its own pool, and our room was spacious with comfy beds and convenient amenities like a fridge. plus, that azure pool was just stunning!

My experience at this hotel was fantastic, surpassing my expectations from my previous stay in zanzibar. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the beach and stone town. The staff were friendly and the spacious room with an ocean view was a dream.

However, my room was located at the front, leading to significant noise from the street, particularly from 5 PM to 7 PM. While many vendors were polite, there were moments when repeated solicitations became a bit overwhelming, which could detract from relaxation on the loungers.
